Humane Emergency Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non profit animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the emergency rescue needs of all species of animals in the Miami-Dade County area.

Mission Statement: The Mission of Humane Emergency Animal Rescue is to prevent and reduce animal suffering by providing emergency rescue and transport of sick and injured animals, animal rescue training, disaster response services and public education.

Our organization is a fire-rescue type service for animals.  Our personnel are certified in some of the same training as your local firefighters.  We care about animals and treat them with respect and compassion.

When you see a cat stuck in a tree, an animal in a storm drain, a dog hit by a car, a monkey on the loose, a horse stuck in the mud, or an animal  suffering who do you call?
